Up for auction is a 1952 Cadillac Meteor Limousine Hearse. This vehicle is in very nice condition and it is all original except for the paint, tires and exhaust. A protective tint was applied to the windows in the early 1980s. It has approximately 70,000 original miles on it. This is a one owner vehicle besides the original Funeral Director's family. The car has the 331 V8 engine and manual 3-speed transmission. Gas tank was dunked and lined in 2007 along with a carburetor rebuild. Car runs and drives great, everything is tight and quiet. This coach is fully operational and ready for use or show. Tires still have tread like new but need to be replaced. Found this out when the rear driver's side tire came apart and damaged the fill tube and the lower inner fender. There is no rust to speak of only surface rust in a few places can be detected. This is no doubt one of the finest 1950s Cadillac that is original and available today. The Limousine Hearse has most always been parked indoors for its entire life and has been exclusively a Montana vehicle for all 58 years. This hearse is sold as is where is.
