For sale is a 1991 Honda CRX HF. I have installed: NEW AXLES (CV Joints), New CAT BACK EXHAUST, New CLUTCH, NEW TIMING BELT, New Duralast Battery, New Receiver Dryer for AC, New radio with IPOD connector, etc.. I have receipts to document these repairs. I have included scans of some of these receipts. I have a complete AC setup which I will be installing on the car. I purchased this car for my wife who was going to use to commute to work, but she has arthritis, and the car is too low for her to get in and out of. I did the above upgrades to assure she would not brake down. If you are knowledgable about CRXs, you know these are important upgrades. This car is in very good condition for its age. The body is very solid - virtually no rust. The exterior is white. The paint is in very good condition for the age of the car. There were a few paint chips which I have touched up. I believe the paint is original, and still retains good shine. The Interior is blue. The interior is in good condition, except for a tear in the outer edge of the drivers seat (typical of CRXs) Seat covers are available at the car parts places starting at $24. The transmission is a 5 speed manual - for best fuel economy. The tires have alot of tread. When you consider all the replaced parts, you will appreciate the value of this car. You may buy another car, and then go the expense of making these repairs. Check out the Ebay car history report - real solid history ! The bad news: There was Very MINOR collision damage to the right rear quarter panel when I purchased the car. I repaired the damage. The repair is not perfect, and the paint is not a perfect match. There are three exterior trim pieces missing: (1) The vertical plastic piece that goes on the passenger door to the rear of the door glass. (2) The passenger side quarter molding that goes from the door to the rear wheel opening. (3) The triangular piece that hoes on the rear, above the tail lights, to the right of the hatch. These pieces show up on ebay from time to time. I had painted these areas black so they would not stand out. On the inside: The rectangular piece that goes around the drivers side interior door handle is missing. One of the interior access panels to the tail lights is also missing. As mentioned earlier, the outer edge of the of the drivers seat has a tear in the fabric. These are great cars ! (I had purchased a CRX HF brand new in 1991 - that is why I hunted down and bought this car). The hatch back has a surprising amount of space - I was able to put a clothes dryer in the back, and still close the hatch !!! Also, If you are tall, this car has alot of leg room - It is the only car I have ever owned that did not need to move the seat all the way back. If you have a long commute, and are tall, you will appreciate the leg room. In other cars, my hip and leg would get sore after 45 minutes of driving. All 4 tires have very good tread, typical of the tire shown in the picture. There are lots of pictures of the interior. I apologize, I have not had time to clean the interior. I will clean it. Regarding the mileage: When I listed the car, I inadvertantly left off off a zero. I tried to correct it, but Ebay does not allow it to be changed after there are bids. The true mileage is 164000 + miles. I forgot to mention: The car has a new alternator. The car does not burn oil. It does not smoke. It does not leak oil or antifreze. The engine runs quiet and smooth.
