Vehicle Detail

You're looking at one of the original trucks that made Power Wagon a household name around the world! This particular truck is a 1949 1 ton B-1-PW126 and is in pretty good condition. Cab wise, there's a few creases across the top and a couple of slight dents there and in the back. The doors are good, not rusted, the hinges are not lose, and the latches & window regulators work fine. (all the glass is good and the windshield regulator cranks out properly) The headliner and upholstery are in good. The floor boards have surface rust, but are other wise solid, but there's some body filler in both lower rear corners of the cab that my guess is hiding some rust through. The running boards are not rusted, but are tweaked in the usual places. The front fenders are good, and the grill shell has a few minor dents plus the bent bar that you can see in the pic. The hood is straight. The bed sides are good with a few dings and extra holes (the original wood floor & metal strips are there and mostly intact)... the head board and tailgate are tweaked, but not too bad. The rear fenders are dinged up as well but nothing that couldn't be beat out. Other than the cab corners, there's really not any major rust on this truck that I can see. It runs & drives good, but the brakes are inoperative. (looks like the master leaks out) The steering is tight, and the running gear (5.83:1 axle ratio-Dana 200 2:1 2-speed transfer case) & drive train seem to be in good condition and working order as well. The gent I'm listing this for said that there's something going bad in the rear diff so this truck comes with a good spare take out differential.(I've only driven it around the block and it sounded like bad carrier bearings to me) The gauges work,(10-15 psi oil pressure at engine warm idle) but the needle has fallen off the speedo. The lights work and the generator charges, but the old cloth covered wiring will need to be replaced. The 8000lb Braden PTO winch works good, but it's missing the engage/dis-engage lever assembly. This truck shows the typical signs of being used as a work vehicle (been stored inside or the last 15 years), but over all, it's in decent condition, both mechanically & body wise, and is a great old Power Wagon...you need this!!! This truck comes with a clear WA title & I can arrange storage &/or shipping if you need it. I've described this truck as best I can, but if you want more pics or have any questions...don't be afraid to ask! (509-928-4460 or 509-991-4573) Thanks for your time & good luck bidding! Army Dave
