I am an Ivy League graduate. I am in my mid-30s. I am a serious fellow, and I've been on the national and local TV news giving unpaid and unsolicited financial market commentary; also been in major national newspapers and magazines doing the same. Most recently, I was quoted in AARP magazine. There is nothing being hidden about this car, as so many people do. You don't get 100% positive feedback over 11 years of registration by hiding things. If there is something you should know about the car of which I am aware, it's available to you in the auction. I go out of my way by shooting photos not just of every imaginable angle, but also in multiple lighting conditions and I did a long video to show as many details as possible -- by doing this you have you rely on a seller's "interpretation" of characteristics of the car, but instead you can draw your own conclusions from what you see. I also go out of my way to make sure people are satisfied. I work hard to make sure I get specific positive feedback comments; I don't take it lightly, and it means a tremendous amount to me, though it's been a long time since I've had something on eBay (other than the truck which I put on last week). I look forward to getting to know you if you'd like me to (or if you'd like to buy the car without me getting to know you, that's OK too!)!Use the combination of the photos, videos and text for full disclosure, with more emphasis on the photos and video as the description is clearly not intended to be exhaustive. As eBay says, a single picture is worth a thousand words. eBay strongly recommends the best practice of providing as many photos as possible and letting the photos do the talking, rather than trying to describe in words what can be seen in a photo or trying to recreate in words what already is in provided photos. I have been registered on eBay for 11 years and have 100% positive feedback. Any questions, message me through the eBay messaging system, and I will answer promptly, or you can call me at (Five-Six-One) Three-76-Two-Two-Seven-Nine. I write the telephone number like that to avoid getting computer-generated marketing calls. AUCTION RULES: Full payment is due within within 7 calendar days of auction ending by either cash in-person or bank wire only. (Once you receive a fraudulent cashier's check from a buyer, you'll never accept another one either!) Pickup is also due within 14 calendar days, and may not occur until funds have cleared. Storage for the first 14 days is FREE. There is a storage charge of $350/week beyond 14 days, and is limited to 2 extra weeks (for a total of 4 weeks of storage). You must read the entire auction description, follow the rules, and study each picture and video fully. Someone asked me whether I offer a warranty. I do not offer any kind of a warranty on anything that I sell, ever, as a matter of policy -- this truck is As Is with no warranty. You get the truck as pictured, captured in the video, and described, a clean a clear Florida title, and 1 key.I've created the following 21-minute video to demonstrate the car. It's worth watching the entire thing as it has important information in it: It's important that you use all photographs and the video because I will not be covering in words what is already available in those. Allow me to give you my impression of the car. I have owned several 911's...this car is a stunning example, because the majority of its paint glistens bright red, the 964 features are really nice looking, and the European Market aspects of it make it feel more genuine (in fact, it is more genuine than an American market 911). It has a small number of oxidation spots shown in the photos, caused not primarily by foul weather exposure but, for example, from symmetric bra abrasion in the front. Around the right-hand wiper arm pivot it probably started out as a chip and grew to that. The majority of the other paint glistens brilliantly. I have been told the skill required to "find" 1st gear when you start from a stop is due to a couple of easily replaceable bushings. It doesn't leak or burn oil. I don't want to say that and then have someone say he or she found a drip, so for the record it doesn't drip a lot of oil or have major oil leaks. I do get a fuel smell sometimes in the garage (not while driving), but it doesn't leave a trace of fuel on the ground. The fitted PORSCHE 911 car cover and bag as seen in the photos can optionally be purchased from me along with the auction (offered to the auction winner only) for an additional $125. The odometer stopped working. In the video I said glovebox courtesy light was not working, however, it is working but only when you open the door, not when you open the glove compartment. The following slideshow automatically displays only the first 100 of the more than 300 available pictures. To view the remainder of them, and to be able to zoom in, etc., right-click near the bottom of slideshow window where it says "View all" and select "Open in new window" or "Open in new tab." That will keep this auction page open while you are viewing the pictures in a separate web browser window or tab: On May-19-11 at 21:35:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Couple typos in my text above: Whenever I refer to "truck" in the standard rules above, it should say "car." This statement: "...by doing this you have you rely on a seller's "interpretation" of characteristics of the car..." should read instead, "...by doing this you DON'T have you rely on a seller's "interpretation" of characteristics of the car..."On May-20-11 at 13:43:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Also included is the remote control for the Sony stereo, not pictured. On May-21-11 at 09:01:12 PDT, seller added the following information: In the text above I said you get 1 key. That was a typo. I actually have three (3) keys. You get all 3 of them.On May-24-11 at 10:07:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I wrote above "Upgraded H4 'Sealed Beam' Headlights" but I should have written "Upgraded H4 'Composite' Headlights"...composite is much better than a sealed beam.
