Vehicle Detail
1949 B1PW Power Wagon. This truck has what I believe is the original low mileage (32xxx) Title says mileage exempt , Truck runs, drives, stops, engine doesn't smoke, Engine has a nice throaty purr with no odd noises. The 4 wheel high and low work . The tires are nice with at least 95% tread left. Oil pressure is good at 40 lbs and the oil pressure gauge works. The charging system works as does the ammeter. The truck has been stripped to the frame. The frame, cab, bed, nose, stripped to bare metal and repainted. Oil pan removed new gasket installed. Engine looked real clean inside. New, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, armored brake hoses and fuel line installed. The emergency brake works New 6v Battery Radiator repaired. New radiator hoses, fresh oil, new filter, new points, wires cap and rotor. The seat has been recovered.. The drive train is the original with the original t137 motor with correct and original square top carb. Engine, transmission, front and rear axles all parts that it left the factory with. The body tags are there and the numbers match the numbers stamped on the frame. Correct year winch. Things that still need to be done are. Wiring for lights and switches, bed wood, headliner, front and rear fenders need some straightening , running boards(which I have but they will need straightened) cab lights(included), Pto needs to be installed(comes with the truck and is real clean, just needs installed). Pintle hitch( included) rear spring needs a center bolt. General tinkering to make it a driver, I've only driven it up and down the street since I don’t have it registered or insured but drive train is solid. Things I know are missing. Drive shaft for the winch, 2 running board brackets (I have 4), Tail gate (I have a later model that is included that would work), air cleaner, temp gauge (there is an aftermarket one under the dash that is hooked up and working and it shows 150 -160 deg when warmed up),1 headlight ring, winch fork handle, windshield gasket. Paint is about 2 years old except on the bed which the paint is newer but not an exact match, The truck is a rust free western Truck that lived in dry Colorado all its life. There is no pitting on the frame and the cross members don’t have rust like most of these trucks get. The cab is rust free and only the back bottom of the cab had a small spot of rust that was cut out and a new piece welded in. There is also a patch on the back of each rear fender. Originally a US Forest Service truck here in Colorado, it was then used by the University of Colorado (Ft. Collins). It was then auctioned off and sat on a farm here in Colorado till I acquired it. I believe I am the 4th owner. Most of the hard work has been done. Be ready for summer fun with little time and money. most everything is there Plus extra parts. I have a fairly low reserve and buy it now on this auction I'm selling to help fund a business venture. Truck has a free and clear Colorado title in my name. Truck is sold as is where is and comes with no warranty. You are welcome to come and see the truck. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds available at the time of bidding and all your family matters worked out. Payment is required within 7 days of the end of auction. I prefer cash, personal check or bank wire transfer. All funds must clear before you get the truck. NO CASHIERS CHECKS of any kind will be accepted. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer although I will help in any ways I can.
