LAST CHANCE ! 1952 Mercedes Model: 220 Kilometers: 103,644 THIS IS AN OLDER RESTORATION, NO RUST. I welcome inspections before the auction ends. We recently purchased this wonderful 220 from the second owner of 25 years. The previous owner had the car running until 2009, and decided to rebuild the brake cylinders and reline the brake shoes, flush and clean up the radiator, prep the car for a new paint, new interior, and new wood. We cleaned the entire car, put the interior and the wood back into the car, we put most of the trim and all door handles back on the car, and voila... (See pictures bellow). The car rolls, the ENGINE DOES TURN. No rust, the car was restored a few years ago by the previous owner. Original engine ** New Seats and Door Panels installed in the car Needs new rubber mats or carpet New restored original wood Original rubber mats, front driver side and transmission. Needs a headliner ($200 plus labor) Paint is a black finish, and the body is straight. It needs a good buffing or a spray Original floors, see pictures All chrome is present, just missing the front driver outside door molding Needs front, and rear bumper to be re chromed All the chrome is original and will have to be sent to the chrome shop Needs doors weather strips and new front and read rubber seal New Windshield (not installed) Original rear window All the keys are there, front door, ignition (replaced), gas tank, and trunk New front brake shoes Rebuild brake cylinders Rebuild, cleaned and flushed radiator Original Solex Carburetors Needs radiator to be connected Needs rubber air duct ($70 each side) No rust, clean solid 220 sedan from 1952 Original wheels Needs 4 new tires We have the front and rear chrome molding for the windshield and all four outside window chrome molding as well.
