Up for auction is an all original, un-restored, 1974 Honda CL 450 K6 Scrambler. Please, for your own sake, read the entire description and look over all the photos. I am opening up this auction for world-wide bidding, not just to the United States and Canada. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but contact me to work out details. This is a no reserve auction! I would recommend that you would look it over, ask questions, and place your bid early. If you want to wait until the very end, that’s fine too, but please note that I reserve the right to end the auction early (for sale locally) Communication is key! Ok, enough of that. It has 2,497 original miles (may have a few extra miles on it if the weather gets nice) I do not have the title. According to Illinois DMV, they do not have any records indicating that this motorcycle was ever registered in IL. Only a bill of sale from the previous owner. It is a pain (and it is expensive) to get an Illinois title quickly, but I am looking into different options. Originally purchased from Mr. Norm’s Kawasaki Motor Sports Center. It has a brand new Honda battery and new fuel lines & filters. It starts, runs, and shifts through all the gears. Clutch works like it should. Brakes work great. Inside the fuel tank there is some surface rust, but nothing flaking off. Lights, horn, odometer, trip odometer, speedometer, and tachometer all work like they should. Turn signals work, but they do not flash? Seat is in mint condition. Chrome on the bike needs a good cleaning, but is in good shape, some minor pitting. Several pictures indicate how clean the chrome will shine, but it will take some work to get to that condition. Tires are original, but seem to be in good shape. They hold air, but I’d replace them if you plan on riding. Overall the bike needs a good cleaning, but I believe that by not cleaning it, you will see its actual condition. The lock to lift up the seat was drilled out to get to the battery, but it still latches like it should. Comes with 2 keys. Brake lever end is broken off. It will need two new boots for the front forks. Kick start works great. It comes with the factory tool kit. No oil leaks. Call with questions.
