Overall a great daily driver car. If you live in Fountain Valley, CA you have probably seen this car as I drive it as it is a blast to drive. The car always gets looks and people just love the Starsky and Hutch look even if it is a 4 door. I have been restoring this car a little bit at a time over the last several years. I just had the rear bumper rechromed, front bumper still needs to be rechromed, New fresh paint. I bought and installed an original AM radio that works but I did not hook it up because the factory dash speaker needs to be replaced. I have some extra high end speakers for under the dash that I just never installed (I perfer just to listen to the sound of the car!!!). The clock I purchased it is an option to the car, originally it did not have a clock. The clock is supposed to work, I was told, but I never hooked it up. In order to hook up the factory clock, you need to use a factory optional wire harness to connect to the main wire harness, I didn't know where to plug it into so I just never plugged it all in. The speedometer, fuel gauge, temp gauge wipers (2 speed) signals, headlight switch, brakes, horn, etc all work. I just replaced the master cylinder, I replaced the windshield washer pump, added a factory windshield washer resivior, I added the expensive 351 Cleveland finned valve covers and the Ford air cleaner that you see in the pictures, and I added a set of optional turbine hubcaps too. I replaced the carburetor with a new rebuilt one too. The choke works as new. I have a set of very expensive original FORD seatbelts for a 4 door car that took me years to find. I have some other extra parts too that I will add to the buyer including a set of 15" steel wheels and other stuff as well. Now for the bad..... the front bumper will need rechromed the carpet is worn ($135 to replace) the headliner is torn ($100 to replace) the dash pad is cracked ($145 for a dash cap) The Power Steering pump and hoses could use replacement but still work they just leak. ($75) The A/C did not blow cold so I just removed the belt. (The A/C system is complete and intact). The water pump has a leak (it may be a seal or the pump, I don't know). ($75) The grille has a crack. There is some bubbles of rust in the corner of the rear pass side door and there is a scratch in the paint on the pass rear 1/4 panel. Other than that, this car ALWAYS starts up, first time even after sitting for a week or so, It runs, and runs, and runs. Just let it warm up, and drive it. There is lots of get up and go power, it will downshift and really pull hard if you step on the gas to pass someone. I have driven this car for over 150 mile streches going to Los Angeles and back with no issues on the freeway and it can easily hit the 100mph mark if you are not paying attention to the speedometer. It has a very responsive throttle. I have no doubt that you could drive it anywhere. I'd like to keep the car but I have things I need to get done. If it dosen't sell I will keep it as I have owned it for years and have spent good time and money on it and really, for an inexpensive car this is a BLAST to drive. The car is located in FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CALIFORNIA 92708
