Up for Auction is a 1940 Ford Coupe; car has been stored since 1957; totally rust free. **Two brothers have owned this car since 1950. The car was used until 1957 - then put away in storage where it never saw the road again (although it was worked on from time to time). A little later they installed a 1959 Corvette 283 engine with a numbers matching 3-speed manual transmission. They also installed a later model rear-end. It runs and drives. Motor runs excellent with no smoke or noises. Brakes have all been redone. New master cylinder. New wheels and tires. Also have perfect, original running boards. Have front bumper and bumper brackets. Have side windows and garnish moldings. ONCE AGAIN, THIS CAR IS RUST FREE, NEVER BEEN PATCHED, NO BONDO OR BODY FILLER EVER.
