Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this beautiful, straight and clean 1978 Lincoln Mark V, originally a southern california car with history, excellent show car condition, 54K original miles, fast, clean and healthy 6.6 liter 400 V8, undestructible C6 transmission, reliable brakes, optional EZ-Lift trailer hitch, leather interior, newer custom metallic re-paint, original top, newer tires, brand new Ready-Rad heater core, recent full re-charge of R-12 freon, recent transmission fluid change, recent synthetic-blend oil change, recent engine degrease, recent tire rotation and balance, repacked front wheel bearings, recent bumper-to-bumper inspection, always garaged, no leaks, no rust, will surrender all receipts to buyer, passes emission tests with flying colors, driven at every opportunity I get, always starts right up, never gave me any problems, very reliable car and/or daily driver, floats down the highway, no shimmying, no pulling, no vibrating, best classic car I've owned to date, (and I've had many), wouldn't hesitate to drive this car cross-country, comes with tons of 8-track tapes, (yes, the quadraphonic player works), radio clearly accepts MP3 signals through the FM via a Belkin Tunecast FM Transmitter, total head-turner, ego booster & longest coupe ever produce in the 1970's (230.2"). Note: opening bid placed below NADA value. See for yourself. Visit WWW.NADA.COM The negatives: the clock doesn't work. The driver's side power door lock doesn't work, but the manual door lock works just fine. That's it. Everything else, bumper to bumper works fine. Additonal note: the pictures show the tires as white walls. Since the last rotate and balance, I've flipped the white walls to black walls, for a more sportier look. Same newer tires, just flipped. Ask any questions you may have. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability. Car will be sold as-is, with no warranty implied. Buyer responsible for pickup and/or transport of vehicle...unless you wish for me to drive/deliver the car to you. Simply reimburse me with gas/motel money, and I'll do it. I did it with my 1961 Cadillac, I can do it with this car. A $1000 deposit is due with 48 hours of end of auction via Paypal. Balance due within 7 days after auction in the form of cash, cashiers check or money order. Sorry, no exceptions, unless otherwise okayed by me. Please trust my 100% positive feedback when bidding. I'd like to see the car go to a collector, who will continue to pamper this survivor. Thank you and good luck! NOW: TAKE THIS DESCRIPTION AND PRESENT IT TO OTHER MARK V SELLERS. I GUARANTEE YOU THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO MATCH THE BUMPER TO BUMPER DESCRIPTION IN WRITING LIKE I DID.
