Offered for sale with no reserve is this 1998 Dodge 2500 SLT extended cab with covered 8 foot bed. Top of the line when new, this truck is equipped with Cummins diesel, 2 wheel drive, automatic transmission, power driver seat, power windows, power locks, AM/FM stereo with cd and cassette, lighted vanity mirrors on the sun visors, and sliding rear window. Also has spray in bed liner, custom made dash pad and custom carpeted floor mats, fold down goose neck ball hitch in bed, reese type trailer hitch with trailer brake control and wiring for both a 7 round (factory) and 5 round wiring plugs. Adapter for 7 round to 4 flat in glove box. A fuel pressure gauge has been added under the center dash. A Haynes repair manual is being sold with the truck. Truck was purchased in Texas in 2005 with 131k, it now has 218,086 miles. Exceptionally clean interior has no rips or tears, and has never been smoked in. Always stored in heated garage and rarely driven on salted roads-maybe once a year if only absolutely necessary and thoroughly cleaned afterwards, as this was a second vehicle. As such, there is no rust. Extremely well maintained, truck has had all fluids changed over to AMSOIL synthetic lubricants: Engine oil, transmission fluid, differential, power steering, antifreeze/coolant and even the chassis grease. Also has the AMSOIL dual engine oil filter system which incorporates a full flow filter along with a bypass filter that removes contaminants down to 2 microns. Engine wear is caused by particles of 5 microns and larger, so engine wear is virtually eliminated. Batteries are 2 years old. Tires very good-probably around 20k left on tread. Since 2005, engine has been run on a blend of WVO (waste vegetable oil) and diesel fuel. Some call this solvent blending, as it is less sophisticated and much less complicated that producing true biodiesel. There is a small quantity of processed ready to use WVO that will go with the truck. New owner of truck has option of purchasing the equipment and supplies for processing the WVO. The vinyl lettering on the back "Real Trucks Don't Have Spark Plugs" is easily removable.
