The car was apparently mechanically restored and is ready for minimal body work and then to be painted. The mechanical restoration was a representation also made by the previous owner. The engine starts instantly every time, and you can see from its superficial appearance that it was restored. It will need timing/carburetor adjustments because although it starts immediately on the first crank even when it hasn't been started in months, it doesn't want to revv-up when you step on the fuel...it'll just stall. You can press on the fuel a little bit without it stalling. Still, this all made it difficult to do a demonstration video of it driving but I still did the driving video, so you get the advantage of that. You wouldn't be able to drive the car home like that...you really need to be able to stomp on the fuel on command, to go up a hill for example or to get out of the way of traffic. The window regulators are not working properly. This is a 40 year old little roadster that needs work to be reliable and hasn't been inspected for safety. You can't drive it home. It would be a safety issue for me to allow you to do that. You can certainly start it up, drive it around your yard and, when you buy it, it'll be no problem to start it up to drive it onto a trailer. -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- NO MINIMUM BID -- THE TOP BIDDER WINS Use the combination of the photos, videos and text for full disclosure, with more emphasis on the photos and videos as the description is clearly not intended to be exhaustive. As eBay says, a single picture is worth a thousand words. They strongly recommend the best practice of providing as many photos as possible and let the photos do the talking, rather than trying to describe in words what can be seen in a photo or trying to recreate in words what already is in provided photos. I have been registered on eBay for close to 11 years and have 100% positive feedback. Any questions, message me through the eBay messaging system, and I will answer promptly, or you can call me at (Five-Six-One) Three-76-Two-Two-Seven-Nine. The following slideshow automatically displays the first 100 of the ~125 available pictures. That's just a Photo Bucket limitation...to view the rest of them, right-click on the "View all" at the bottom right of the slideshow and select open in new tab or window: (videos will posted below in an auction update...they are not finished uploading yet.) AUCTION RULES: Full payment is due within within 7 calendar days of auction ending by either cash in-person or bank wire only. (Once you receive a fraudulent cashier's check from a buyer, you'll never accept another one either!) Pickup is also due within 14 calendar days, and may not occur until funds have cleared. Storage for the first 14 days is FREE. There is a storage charge of $150/week beyond 14 days, and is limited to 2 extra weeks (for a total of 4 weeks of storage). You must read the entire auction description, follow the rules, and study each picture and video fully. I do not offer any kind of a warranty on anything that I sell, ever, as a matter of policy -- this car is As Is with no warranty. -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- * * * NO MINIMUM BID -- THE TOP BIDDER WINS * * *On Dec-11-10 at 01:55:02 PST, seller added the following information: I don't remember if I mentioned in a video or in the text above, the horn push (steering wheel center) is not attached, but it's in the parts. Below this text you are reading are a couple videos I promised you. The first is a close-up of the engine running, and the second is a quasi road test out on the street:
