Vehicle Detail
This bike is being offered for auction by my late aunt's estate. The bike has a clear title. Within the last 2 years she had the alternator, front brake rotor, battery and 1 or both tires replaced by the Honda dealership. The original tank was damaged in storage, so we purchased a replacment tank which is silver. The tank has a few scratches, but no rust whatsoever. The bike has the add-on front light bar, aftermarket exhaust, windshield & locking hard case saddlebags. The custom seat and sissy are from Mustang. The bike starts, runs & rides. It is COLD BLOODED. It idles too low, but I am not interested in trying to adjust the idle on the carbs. Reserve price of $1200 set by our attorney. These 1100cc bikes locally, with more miles but the same color tank, go for over $2000 so this price should not be a problem. The 750cc bikes for sale seem to be right at $900 to $1100. Please e-mail me if you would like to see the bike prior to bidding. Also included will be 1 or 2 service manuals we have for the bike. I lost the screw that holds on the battery cover, so the cover is in the saddlebag along with a tool kit & some bungee cords. It's probably a $0.17 screw at Ace Hardware. Please feel free to ask any questions. On Nov-18-10 at 03:25:08 PST, seller added the following information: NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE - THIS BIKE IS AN 88, NOT A 98. When I typed in my description I typed 1988, but when eBay decoded the vin it was listed as a 1998. Both years show up in the description. Since the reserve has has not been met at the time I am typing this, no bidders have been affected by this error yet. I am sorry for any confusion. Thank you to Kathy for spotting this error.
