Vehicle Detail

1971 Porsche 911T roller, non-sunroof coupe, CLEAN TITLE: Barn find, very rusty, body is 98% complete, restoration project. This car needs a ground-up restoration, including floors and front pan. Torsion bar tube appears to be solid. It is missing: the tool kit, spare tire, shift knob, and the horn button. The interior is toast from sun damage, but complete. The paint is sun damaged, cracked, and crazed with spots of visible rust. Engine lid has rust. The wheels are 5.5 x 14 Fuchs Alloys. So much for the bad, now the good: The body is straight and has no visible major collision damage. All glass is perfect except the windshield is sandblasted. The side window trim is very good. This 911T is fitted with S trim and S gauges. It has factory sway bars front and rear. It is fitted with KONI shocks. The original color was Albert Blue (1818) with a black interior. The locks all work and the keys are included. It is missing the engine, 5 speed transmission, oil tank, and relay board. The suspension and brakes are stock 1971 911T and need a complete restoration. This car has a clean Massachusetts title and all vin plates are correct and present. Now the sales pitch: This is a factory cool car! Albert blue (1818) is a very RICH color and with a black interior, anodized deep sixes, S trim and S gauges, factory sway bars, lowered, no sunroof….. with a 2.5 MFI or carburated 2.7 engine – You’ve got one of the coolest R Gruppe type hot rods ever built! Let’s face it, all these early 911’s have rust. This 911 is honest! It is not hiding behind bondo and a shiny paint job. What you see is what you get. But, this car could be so nice, and you’ve got to do ground-up restoration anyway, why not start with a car with no surprises. Restore and detail it your way! Buy a mig welder and learn to weld! I feel this 911 is worth saving. It won’t be cheap, but when finished it will be absolutely stunning. Also it will be a great store of value and a blast to drive and own! $2500.00. Sold as is. FOB Winnemucca NV 89445 Attention Europeans: Cars like this go for 60,000 EUROS in your homeland. Put your idle metalman to work on this car and make BIG money. Think about it, engines and transmissions are easy to come by – bodies are not! And floors and front pans are cheap. Buy this car and save it! Easy to sell for a nice profit! I have described this project as I see it and will not be responsible for any omissions or errors. No warranty stated or implied.Questions: contact Tom Woodford 775-625-4023.
