Up for auction is a very original daily driver 1966 Midget. Red with red interior. Nearly rust free California car sold new in the SF area and restored once in the 80’s. Upgraded to a 1275 engine at some point. Includes all service records dating back to 1981 showing less than 40,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. Solid floors with only light surface rust. Absolutely no accidents or body damage on this car. The paint is presentable for a driver, but it could use a little attention. Very nice brightwork with only minor pitting. Includes the original tonneau cover and Robbins top. Everything is fully functional except the tachometer and the inside driver door latch. The shifting is smooth, although first gear requires a little finesse. The interior is clean apart from the carpet, which has seen better days. The title is clear and this little car is ready to drive. Sold As Is.
