Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a beautiful 1972 Chevrolet SS El Camino clone. The vehicle does not have an engine or transmission . The vehicle was set up for a 454ci. and a turbo 400. The vehicle has a freash 12 bolt .390 posi rear end already installed in it. The paint is a fireengine red with black racinf stripes and is in pretty good condition the body is very good. There is a tilt column with a SS steering wheel installed along with a SS dash and instrument panel. There are a few cracks in dash but still in pretty good shape. The interior is brand new except for the headliner, The seat and door panels were reupholstered to match in black and gray fabric.the carpeting is new and there is a console included with Auto Meter gauges installed in it. The vehicle has a brand new vinyl top. All chrome is included except for a rear corner of the bed chrome( 1piece ). Both bumpers are in nice shape. The tires and wheels are almost new BF Goodrich P235/60 R15 on GM SS rally wheels with beauty rings. The bed is in great shape painted to match exterior. The only thing really lacking besides eng. and trans. are the one chrome piece a front turn signal lens and the front grill. Also included are the original cowl induction chrome molding and the SS front grill molding along with other misc. chrome molding. This is a beautiful car if someone has the engine and trans and time to install they would have an awesome looking and running muscle car. The title is a salvage title but not because it was wrecked, I purchased this car almost 20 years ago from an impound lot out of L.A. and that was the only way it could be titled because it was impounded. The car is straight outside and straight underneath. The interior is beautiful with exception of headliner. Good luck!
