Current Photos of the Actual Bike! For auction I have a clean and well equipped 1975 BMW R90/6. In great overall condition this is an everyday driver that has been well maintained. Place your bid now the wicked nice ones like this go quick. We think the R90/6 is a perfect machine for the classic bike enthusiast looking for a comfortable and reliable touring machine. Its winning combination of classic looks, legendary reliability and fine road manners make it easy to live with, and its flexible, surprisingly powerful engine makes spirited riding easy, if not down right fun. Add to that an established network of supportive and knowledgeable parts and restoration experts — and riders — and you have a classic bike ideally suited for everyday use. MC These photos were taken moments before this listing was created. Key Features Recent service items include new base gaskets, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets and push rod seals. The clutch and throttle cables were also replaced. The carburetors had new floats, float needles, bowl gaskets and were synchronized. Hard Bags Mechanical Notes I enjoyed a spirited 25 mile test drive. There are no abnormal sounds or vibrations it starts right up, accelerates, shifts, stops and handles as it should. I have looked it over and given it a good inspection with everything checking out great. It does need a new rear tire soon. The service is up to date, the oil and filter were just changed and all fluids checked, it’s ready to ride. Cosmetic Comments Please look real close at the up-to-the-minute photos as they show this bike really well. The paint shows average patina for a bike of this age with small scuffs and nicks abound. The chrome is bright and mostly free of pitting and flaking. The plastics and frame components look nice and are not overly faded or cracked. It is obvious this /6 has been well cared for. This is a great looking bike that doesn’t show the miles it has. I ship many motorcycles please let me ship yours to you! I can ship most bikes uncrated in the lower 48 states for approximately $600.00 to a commercial address, bikes going too far away rural or residential locations may cost more. I only ship with professional truckers who specialize in motorcycle transportation. And for the overseas buyer I can properly crate any motorcycle for you at an extra cost. No Hidden Fees or Processing Charges! I would like a $250.00 down payment within 24 hours of the auction end and the balance paid within 7 working days unless otherwise agreed upon. I accept certified bank checks, money orders, bank to bank wire transfers and cash in person. PayPal and credit cards are only accepted for down payment and may not be used for the balance. Buyer is responsible for any postage, shipping, state fees or taxes if any. To our friends in the great white north, I sell many bikes in Canada and will be glad to assist in the proper paper work for you to import your bike. This is a reserve auction for bikes that are listed for sale at my dealership and on my website. Please do not inquire for the reserve amount. This is not fair to active bidders and those with phone offers. The reserve may be lowered to meet the highest bid so please place a bid that you would pay or make me an offer to “buy it now” and I will end the auction and sell you the bike. I do NOT deal in rebuilt, salvage, crashed, auction, neglected or abused motorcycles .All my bikes are either traded in or purchased from the owner after a thorough inspection. Due to the fact that these are previously owned vehicles I may not have additional keys, all or any sets of books or manuals. Please understand that you are purchasing a previously owned and ridden bike it may have normal wear and tear and show signs of use. I welcome in house inspections along with phone and emailed questions of my inventory. Please be certain of your decision to complete the transaction before you place a bid.
