Vehicle Detail
FREE SHIPPING! [see details below] Here it is: The Custom Blue Pacific Coast you've always wanted. We all know the white is atrocious, the red is ok and the black looks decent, but BLUE! Wow, it is amazing. It was a complete custom paint job with brilliant blue paint with a very small fleck so it shimmers in the sun. UPGRADES I bought and have done various upgrades including: 1.) Recovered main seat--Looks better than new 2.) Installed Handle bar risers--Gives improved controls and handling 3.) Replaced old "snap" fasteners--one was cracked and didnt hold when I bought the bike, so I went through and replaced them with new parts. 4.) Custom Droid GPS mount--holds the Droid cell phone in perfect position to navigate 5.) Trickle charger hookup installed--due to the "10 step" battery removal process, I thought it would be convenient to access it or at least check its charge a bit easier, so I installed a battery tender with easy access in the side kickplate [which was off in the pic but easily covers it] 6.) Tank bag--small durable tank bag is included with straps already installed. Recent maintenance 1.) New rear tire 2.) New Filter 3.) New Oil and Filter [motorcycle sythetic] Picture info: I've attached a few pics and apologize for not having more. If you have questions, I will provide more. Please note that in the pics, I have just installed the battery tender and forgot to put the right kickplate and front tie-down cover back on. I have them both and they are on the bike now, just not in the pics. Why sell? So why am I parting with this treasure? Well, after wanting one for a long time, I bought it despite my girlfriend's silence. Riding it to and from work [40 miles round trip of highway], I have loved it. But I already have two older hondas--1980 CX500s--which I have spent considerable time and money customizing and they're always requiring maintenance--the PC800 requires little to none. Its handling, power and aerodynamics are all superior in every way! But she has gotten accustomed to the seat on my old bike and the oversized sissy bar and refuses to ride this bike with me. She's basically said it's her or this bike. So, because there's not enough room in the garage for them all and because this bike wont keep me warm at night, I've got to let it go. Known defects THERE A NO BODY PANELS MISSING--They were not in the pictures because I was working on the bike when I took the pictures and hadnt put them back on. This bike has been garaged for most of its life. The prior owner kept it in a garage as did I. However, we both live in florida and rode it 20+ miles to work each day, so it has been sitting in the sun which has lightened the rear seat and some of the dashboard panels. None are visibly cracked or damaged to the point of needed replacement, just a little bit of age.1)Scratches to the side of luggage and side of air intake [see pics] 2) Passenger seat is faded but not cracking--I recovered the main seat because it was starting to look bad, but the passenger seat is still decent, it just looks lighter because its grey and I recovered my main seat with black. For about $100, the rear seat and backrest could be recovered to match. 3) Like every PC800, it has a slight exhaust 'pop'. I thought it was a defect at first, but after reading the PC800 forums, its a common thing and there's nothing to worry about. Its only noticeable at slow speeds and the solution is to replace the entire exhaust which I dont think is neccessary. FREE SHIPPING! Because I like riding this bike so much and want to give it a good home, I am willing to deliver it to you. I've done numerous cross state and cross country trips and would be willing to make one last ride on this one. So dont let the fact that you live in Minnesota or California stop you from getting this bike. Frequently the shipping of bikes runs at least $1000 which can make purchasing a quality used bike this this cost prohibitive. But I live in Orlando, where I can fly cheaply. So, before you buy, contact me and I can work put a plan to ride the bike to you and fly back...what better way to prove the bike's roadworthyness? Or, you can fly to orlando and drive it back yourself and I'll send you to disney or universal studios for a day. Again these are not ironclad promises, please contact me and we can work something out. TIMELINE This bike will not be available for pickup or delivery until Oct 12th. I am out of the country until then so please don't click the buy it now and expect to get it tomorrow. Contact me first and I can provide you with details, timeline, and whatever else you need.
