I purchased this GTI in April of 2007 with 20534 miles on it from Douglas VW in Summit, NJ. I believe I'm the second owner. It's been garaged kept since my ownership and it appeared to be garaged by the previous owner as there is no sun damage or fading of the paint anywhere on this car. There are a few touched up areas that do not show up in photo's, one on the hood and one on the passenger mirror, these are very minor and most people who are not as anal retentive as myself would never notice them. The chin spoiler does have a crack in it that appears to have been repaired by the previous owner, its not really seen and hasn't changed at all in the three years I've owned the car. I've had virtually no problems with this car, I replaced the battery about a year ago and last year a check engine light came on which turned out to be some sensor that the local BMW repair facility diagnosed and replace. Outside of this I have had zero problems. It has a current PA State Inspection sticker good thru 4-11 and the oil was just changed with 5W-30 Shell Synthtitic . Fuel milage is around 30 highway and the 20's around town. Good power from the 1.8 Turbo motor and lots of fun with the 5 speed atuomatic that has the manual shift mode. Everything works there are no issuies with anything. The milage that shows of today is 31893 however I still use this car so expect the milage to increase but I doubt it will read much over 32,000 before the end of this auction.You will not be disappointed in this car one bit and you would be hard press to find a cleaner adult owned GTI anywhere. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the close of this auction, the remaining is due within seven days of the close at which time the GTI must be pickup. Since the reserve has been met I took the car out to fill it with gas so the new owner will have a full tank for the ride home. The odometer now reads 31911
