' 79 Corvette Coupe~Automatic~ Well kept & running great until it threw a rod on freeway ..good news is...engines are cheap & easy to find. Put what YOU want in it or check this engine out first, needs a shortblock...currently has a Chevy 350 with a golfball size hole in bottom of oil pan. For $1000, I could get a rebuilt installed, but attempting to sell as is until I can afford to fix it as I need $ now... Overall very good condition. Prior to 'the incident' this car ran clean & strong no sputtering, smoke or issues,smogged last year & had some GiTTy-UP to it~engine is clean condition, use for extra parts or possibly repair it-rod went out the bottom of oil pan ...it came home on a stretcher a few months ago & stored undercover in a closed garage since. Use pix for best description..ask questions, will do the best I can to answer them. Registration is clear & currently on non-op (CA) No smog certificate included. This vehicle is sold as is-no warranty and is NOT currently running. Here's a few details... Interior is in very condition all general upholstery/ceiling/walls, arm rest,bucket seats. Pocket on passenger door is stretched & included is an extra passenger door. Original telescopic steering wheel works good & tight; all glass is good w/tiny fleck on passenger side windshield; dark tint windows; Ttops remove & lock easily, fit in back; it has a cassette in dash & 12 disc changer in back that is stuck closed,may be repairable-crankin' loud speaker box in back can be removed for more space or just rock out; some dash gauges do not work & are bypassed with an undermount gauge trio that likely is not accurate as it did not warn me when I was overheating. If changing out the engine, that would be the time to repair original gauges on motherboard & pull the bypass out (why not?) or at least make sure these are working right. Body is clean & rides low....there is a small crunch/dent in front passenger bumper/fender which is hidden by the leather bra (see pix) above reflector...the paint is newer, shiny black Onyx & has some orange peel around the door handles but overall very good, no fading or paint scratches Centerline aluminum rims & newer tires still good; meaty sounding dual mufflers. Shifts smooth & handles great. The right/passenger side headlight sticks sometimes when turning lights on. All gadgets are intact (ashtray,glove box works,mirrors,etc) All lightcovers, lights, refelectors & emblems are good, working & intact & uncracked....
