The 1967 Ford Mustang was the first time since it's beginning to be significantly changed. It was similar to its original style but just bigger. The grille featured a larger opening and the feature lines on the side led to larger simulated air scoops. The taillights were three vertical lenses on each side of a concave panel and the gas cap was located in the center of the panel. About seven percent of the 1967 mustangs had the four-speed manual transmission, 98 percent had bucket seats, 15 percent had vinyl tops, 16 percent had air conditioning, and a rare feature was the dual exhaust found on about 25,000 cars.
