By far the most popular models were the 2 seat Roadsters starting w/the infamous '57 300SL, now priced out of reach for most of us. By the mid-Sixties, still today their best designed little 2 seater model was this 250SL Convertible offered here. Well restored, it's pretty Beige paintwork along w/it's Black interior, soft top & factory Hardtop, look extremely well on this rare 4 Spd. manual equipped example. The Mercedes Benz 2 passenger open top Roadsters have been one of the World's most desirable cars. With production being only 5196 units made from late 1966 thru early 1968, these are hardly seen very often, especially in this condition with all the paperwork that she has. It was delivered new on August 12th, 1967 & is the rarest of all the 230 thru 280 SL Pagoda cars produced. It is finished in the lovely DB 716 Grey Beige color in recent years to a very high standard. Complimented by it's DB 116 MB-Tex Cavier interior having an 872 Black soft top & a Black painted "Pagoda" Hard Top. It is a factory US delivered car from new having power steering & power brakes, outside rearview leftside mirror, heat absorbing glass & a late model Kenwood casette player. It is also one of the rare factory 4 Speed manual transmission cars w/ Bosch Fuel Injection & disc brakes on all 4 corners that make this 250SL sound & perform better than any Jaguar XKE for 1/2 the price.
