A consignment auction -- This 30 tudor sedan survivor has a straight and clear Ohio title. This car has been indoors and cared for for decades, and is possibly from the South or West before venturing into Ohio, as it has, for a car of 80 years young, has minimal rust damage...I have only seen patch panels in the inner rear wells and small spots at the front bottom of the cowl. The rear body pan is very nice, and you can just tell that this is an older restoration from the last go-round, and that it also was a first timers restoration this time around, interrupted by their unfortunate early passing. This is where I come in. I was handed over the car in a basket with no motor or trans and the body just resting on the chassis. I have mocked up and pieced together the car to this point to get it rolling and showable for sale. The car has a very reasonable reserve, and most of the parts with it could be used to rebuild it to a driver, or you could go the restore route, since it ALL has to be pulled apart and redone anyway, and make this into a nice show piece for parades or just a great Sunday drive ! Now, having said that, please note that all of the parts that go with the car are not shown, and I will add a detailed list ( and MORE photos ) shortly. Please contact me with questions or if you wish to inspect the car in person, we can arrange that too. Included, but not shown in the main photos are : the windshield with original frame and glass, and lower outside windshield trim / dashboard / instrument cluster and face / bumper brackets and bumpers / exhaust pipe - with some small holes in it, but small enough to mig a patch onto / most of the original window glass and tracking/winders. Some, if not all of the inside window garnishing moldings and screws. A bucket of misc. bolts and screws from the car. All of these are good used pulled from the car. There is also a new in the box gasket set for the engine, as the head has been lifted ( why, I dunno ) and the gasket is gone. Here is both the good and the bad about what you do see in the main photos. The top is good, only one broked wood bow where someone put something too heavy on the roof. It can be glued and saved in place. The top canvas and chicken wire is in good shape and can possibly be used as is. The entire wiring harness has been cut and/or removed from the car. The steel body is in good to very good condition as mentioned elsewhere, with minor rust and patches already in place.see photos with fenders off. The fenders are glass. The runningboards are brand new replacements, just set in place for the photos. The grille nickle plating is good to nice/very good. The radiator seems to be in good usable condition, but I have not had it pressure tested to confirm. The headlight buckets and glass are in good shape too, the silvering is faded. No cracks in the Ford lenses, and just minor dings in the original Ford buckets. The hood is from another car and has minor pitting that looks like someone used a very heavy filler primer to attempt to fill the pitting first. The gas tank is from another car from Arizona and has minor western pitting on the sheetmetal, but is otherwise rust free. Not tested for leaks.
