This was professionally converted to a fully self contained camper from a superior hearse back in the 1970s, the camper part needs a new roof if you were to keep it a functioning camper, it hasnt been used since 1995 and the roof vents leaked rotting the wood out around them, I would say the camper is no good but it could be fixed with alot of work, the car is in nice shape overall, no rust on the frame, and the floor pans are solid, front clip is rusty, doors arent to bad and shut nicely, dash pad is super nice, no cracks, 59000 on the odometer which I think is orignal, glass is all good, this thing has 12 ply springs in the rear with custom made 16.5 rims with the caddy bolt pattern, tires are 8 ply in the rear and 6 in the front (light truck) they are like new, (bias) we drove it on my car trailer, it ran rough but but did run and trans didnt slip, its a 390 C.I.D., it has an electric fuel pump on it and the brakes still work. Please ask any questions you may have and I will try to answer them in a timely fashion, I was going to make a ramp truck out of this to pull my vintage race car but found an older truck that I've been wanting for a while so this has to go. fell free to call me with any questions. Thanks, Mike 717-648-6614 I forgot to add that I researched the car and found out that a 1959 or 60 front clip will bolt on the front which would make it extremely cool, a standard 61 clip wont fit, if you look at the profile of the fenders you can tell 59-60s were smooth and a 61 had alot of curves in and out, apparently Superior used 59-60 chassis in 61 and made a totally different clip to work with it.
