Equipped with the L78 400ci V8, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, remote driver mirror, rear defrost, 15” snowflake wheels, power disc brakes, power steering, and full dash instrumentation! It has been recently refurbished cosmetically to include an all-new interior! The carpet, headliner, door panels, dash pad, seating upholstery & padding, sun visors, armrests, interior door handles, seatbelts, seatbelt retainers are all new! Additionally, all the weather stripping for the doors, windows, and trunk have all been replaced! The gold 15” snowflake wheels were just refinished and new Goodyear Eagle white-letter tires installed! Under the hood, you’ll find a nicely detailed, 1978 date-coded Pontiac 400ci V8 producing a factory rated 180 horsepower. Although, today it has been upgraded with an Edelbrock Pontiac Performer aluminum intake and 600cfm carburetor, aluminum “PONTIAC” valve covers, and brand new FlowMaster Super 44 mufflers, so the output has been increased slightly. The entire air conditioning system was serviced with a new compressor, lines, condenser, o-rings, and conversion to R134a. It works wonderfully and is ready for the summer heat! This car was built new in the Van Nuys, CA plant the 4th week of February 1978 and sold brand new here in St. Louis from Gary Vincel Pontiac on March 16th, 1978. It comes with all the original owners paperwork that includes the owner’s manual, Goodyear tire warranty insert, Mini-Saver spare tire brochure and changing instructions, maintenance schedule, typed warranty card, and consumer guide.
