Relisted...... This thing sold but buyer didn't have any money... For sale here is a 1987 AMC (yes! AMC) Jeep Wrangler. 1st year for the square headlights. 258 inline (4.2) six cylinder (ebay has the engine wrong in their automatic info), 5 spd manual. There is no rust in the floor and almost none anywhere on this Jeep. It has the old style roll bars (like a CJ7) and all black padding is in good shape. It has lots of upgrades and has had lots of work done to it. I will try to provide a full list of equipment and also its faults. Pros: New 4 in. suspension lift with lifetime warranty Rough Country springs, swaybar quick disconnects, upgraded nitro shocks, drop pittman arm, transfer case drop, Juicebox Gold coil upgrade with GM style distributor cap, new wires, new plugs, new air filter, professionally rebuilt Motorcraft 2100 carburetor (not installed), new short ram air intake (not installed), new CD player with USB and flash card reader, and sound bar (not installed), and it has pretty good 33 inch Pro Comp Xterrains (one is like new!). Runs, drives, 4 wheel works! There are numerous little extras like headlight and taillight covers, new Optima red top battery, etc. Cons: Mileage unknown (odometer not working when I got it but it works now), leaks oil (not sure what), numerous parts not installed (see above), previous owner let it roll backwards into a tree (see pics, I had it partially repaired so the tailgate would shut), hood needs some work (clear coat coming off and light crease from window), some paint and body needed and new parts need installed. I also have a new exhaust manifold gasket for it...it needs to be put on but really, this things starts, runs, and drives! Do not let this vehicle's needs intimidate you...it is well worth the work and is a good deal at no reserve! The worst part of the cosmetics is that it did actually roll into a tree and while I did get a piece of lexan made for a window the latch needs to be replaced (found several on ebay). It has a black fender tip on a maroon fender and it has a green tailgate. I know it sounds bad but this Jeep has come a LONG way from where I found it. It didn't run at all (IT HAS BEEN RESURRECTED!) and it would make a good trail rig or restoration project for the right Jeep lover! The last pic is how I found it. It shows how far it has come! I would keep it but we have other hobbies and responsibilities. No warranty, no returns, sold as is... I would be willing to meet the winning bidder anywhere within 50 miles of Cleveland, TN.
