1959 hillman minx wagon On Apr-25-10 at 20:17:02 PDT, seller added the following information: 1959 Hillman Minx Wagon Truly unique car, which always catches a lot of attention at the local car shows I attend... Car is in good running condition... although listed as a project, the only issues with this car are the rear axle requires new grease seals (new seals are included with the car and can be easily fitted to the rear axle), additionally the car comes with an extra transmission as the current transmission pops out of first gear, back passenger side tire is not holding air well. I am only selling as I have too many cars... clear Tennessee title in hand. The car has a new fuel pump, good oil pressure, good clutch, does not smoke, starts first turn of the key and idles smoothly, the exhaust is blowing a little... has been updated with rebuilt disc front brakes, new master cylinder, and wheel cylinders and shoes, and new brake lines, car runs on 15 inch wheels with moon discs. As for the interior, all gauges work, headliner is in decent shape, has both sun visors, dome light does not work, both front windows do not wind down but the back windows do, carpet is okay although not factory, seats are covered with traditional mexican blankets for that "hot rod" look to cover the original seats which are well worn, the back seat folds down for more cargo space. The horn and wiper work, all glass is good, no cracks, one small chip in the windshield (can be seen in photograph) car has been lowered, very solid body, however the floors have been patched with steel and glassed over (see pictures). Car is sold "as is," where is, with no warranties express or implied. To the winning bidder, upon purchase the car can be stored for a reasonable amount of time with no storage costs.
