I am listing this for a friend. 1968 Ambassador, second owner, Purchased car in 2008, drove it home and parked it. Haven't had time to work on this project and it's got to go. It has a 290 V8, automatic transmission with original paint and interior. Bumpers have surface rust. Body has no dings or dents or body filler. Very little rust, mainly surface spots. All glass is in great shape and all windows are functional. Black interior has one small tear in driver's seat. Dash is not cracked. Car starts but runs rough. It will also need a brake job. Not safe to drive Home. Title says that odometer has exceeded mechanical limits, but the condition of the interior tells me that this may be wrong. I checked this car out for the lister and the brake lines are rusted out. Engine has one cyclinder with low compression. Car smokes when running. Engine did run but it has low compression on one cylinder and it smokes. It will need fixed. It will run with a gas can connected to carb.
