Vehicle Detail
This is a 1979 Honda 750 Limited bike with just over 7800 miles on it. For a bike that is over 30 years old, it is in excellent condition, everything works and it runs great too. Bike has a new battery installed early May 09, and new tires (with about 200 miles on them). Cylinder head work done, so compression is excellent. Bike has a Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust instead of stock. Bike starts right up, and is ready to ride. You can drive it home without any worries. Two things worth mentioning: There is a small rip in the seat on the right side, and also between 5 and 7000 rpms there is also a minor flat spot due to the exhaust system on the bike. This is only noticeable when you give it full throttle. If you were to put the original exhaust system back on the bike, or change the carb jets, this would solve this problem, not that is really that noticeable, but wanted to mention it. I do have an extra set of jets (4 main and 4 low speed) that I will include. I am asking 1800.00, but will also consider offers if you wish to make me one. I will also include an original service manual (Honda) on cd and in a printed version too. I really have no more use for it and would like to see this bike go to someone who will be able to make better use out of it than me. I also have lots more pictures of the bike if you want to see more. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at fweddybear@cox.net, and I will be happy to answer any that yo might have. A deposit of 200.00 via paypal must be made within 3 days of the end of auction and the balance can be made in cash only (no money orders or certified checks) upon pick up within 2 weeks. If the buyer decides at the time of pick up not to pay the balance due, the deposit will be considered nonrefundable. The bike can also be inspected prior to bidding.
