We bought this Golf in 2006 for my dad. The vehicle gets about 28 mpg in the city and about 32 mpg on the highway. Primarily driven by my 62 year old father. The vehicle has some rust spots but we've sanded down the area and primed it. The interior is not the cleanest, but a nice shampoo would do the trick. The Golf runs pretty well, with no issues. The head gasket was changed recently. The auto transmission shifts smoothly. The only problem that needs to be addressed is the steering wheel. It has play on it, but my dad drove it as is for the last 3 years like that. The heat on the vehicle works fine, but the A/C will need a re-charge. There is a new cd player in the box included, but was never installed. All the headlights and taillights are in working condition. There are NO leaks inside the vehicle. I've installed a removable aluminum roof rack, included with the car. Thule and Yakima racks can fit onto vehicle.
