You are viewing a 1967 Jeepster Commando complete and restorable. This Jeep has everything you need to start a great project. There are very few of these Jeepsters still around and this one is definately worth bringing back to life. The last owner had it for about 25 years and used it mostly to run around his personal property as he had a nursery business. He told it me it was running until about 2 years ago when the brakes went out. At about that time it had a new gas tank installed. Since it has sat a couple years I believe the cyinders have rusted so I can not get the motor to spin. I do have the plugs out at put some Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders, but I do not think it is going to free up. It has the Dauntless Buick V6 engine and it is 100% all there. I expect you could pull this motor apart, new rings and go over it and use this engine without a major problem to be found. The body is realy good for a vehicle over 40 years old. To the eye there is only minimal rust- doors and inside look very solid. The floor were replaced with galvanized metal- a very nice job. Underneath does look rusty but I did not see any major frame problems. Glass is good except the rear window is missing. Some rubber around the doors is missing. Windows roll up and down but the passeenger window track it off. The vents open. I put in a battery and the starter did engasge but as I said will not turn over. Mileage reads about 94,000. Included is a matching spare and the frame for a soft top. The tires has a lot a tread. Right rear has a slow leak. Of course the Jeep has sat on these tires a couple years without running.
