This is the perfect SL for the Mercedes fanatic that wants a project. This Mercedes has been sitting for the past 10 years, driven just over 1,000 miles in that time. This car has a salvage title due to a minor wiring fire in engine compartment.This was repaired,but I do not believe the best job. This car runs and drives, but needs some TLC to be perfect.This appears to have been painted once, base coat clear coat, a fair job.The front 2 fenders will need to be repainted. The drivers side has some cracking, and the passenger has 2 bubbles.The clear on the trunk brake light is bad.The grille has a couple of dings in the center star. The chrome on the bumpers is very nice, but not perfect. The interior needs some minor attention also. The drivers seat bottom has light blotchs. The passenger seat is nice.The door panels and carpets are nice. The dash has some cracks and the wood is peeling. I have another dash that has no cracks and excellent wood to go with the car.The car runs, but wants to stay on fast idle.I have driven this car about 30 miles.The tires are the original Michelins and show signs of weather cracking. This car is priced to sell, but is not a give away. If my reserve is not met, I will part this car out. I will help arrange shipping or transport to the local docks if needed.
