With Much Regret I Am Selling My 1952 Plymouth 2 Door Hardtop BELVEDERE. Very Rare This Is A Very Good Running And Driving Kustom. Mostly Original.....And Can Be Brought Back To Original With Only A Hood Change And A Few Things. I Built The Car This Way Because I Like Kustom Cars. I Also Like Original Cars...Soooo.....As Not To Hurt Its Value As An Original 2 Dr Hardtop Belvedere. The Modifications Were Kept To A Mininum. ( All Original Parts Are Included With Sale..Chrome Trim, Bumper Guards, Emblems Etc.Etc.) There Are A Few Kustom Touches Added. SUCH AS........Nosed & Decked, Side Fenders De-Cromed, Rounded Hood Corners, Side Hood Scoops (Look Close), Frenched Antenna, The Ugle Buldge Removed From Front Of Hood, Fender Shirts, Half Moon Headlight Covers,Rare Chrome Bull Nose, And 50s Style Pinstriping, Plus.. Lake Side Pipes (For Looks),Ect. Ect. Also...Lowered Front And Rear. ( Blocks In Rear And Altered Frt Springs). Also Included Is A Set Of Beautiful Chrome 50s Style Rear View Door Mirrors. Not Installed Yet. ( Please See Picture Of Them) Mirrors Are Included And Can Be Installed If Winning Bidder Wants. Painted (Primed) Satin White & Satin Blue Industrial Primer. This Was The First Coat Of Primer. The Car Looked Sooo...Good. I Had My Son Stop. But Now.... I Would Fine Tune The Body Work A Little More And Re-Shoot The White Primer.(Another Coat) Thats If You Want A Show Car Job. I Will Include A New Gallon Of White Primer To The Winning Bidder. I Bought This Car As A Very Solid Orginal Car Needing Some Restoration. NOT (Never) A Rust Bucket Like Some Ive Seen & Owned. This Is A Western Car. Although There Was A Little. All Rust Was Removed & Replaced With New Metal Welded In. The Floor Boards Are Good. Drivers Side And Both Rears Are Good. Only A Small Area On The Passenger Side Front Floorboard. Still Needing Repaired. Not A Biggie I Just Never Got Around To It. There Is..ZERO Rust In The Trunk Or The Rear Area Of The Car. This Is RARE. The Plymouth LOOKS Great And Shows Well. Not A Perfect Show Car...But, A Very Nice Driver. She Gets Lots Of Looks !!!. I Would Drive This Car Across The Country !!!!. Well If I Was Younger That Is....Everyone Knows How A Lowered Car Drives. Not Sure I Could Handle It Today. But, Old Plymouths Still Give A Decent Ride Being Low. Great Around Town. The Inside Is Mostly Original. The Dashboard Is In Very Nice Original Condition.Still Has Its Original Brown Paint. Nice Shine. This Plymouth Has Most All Options....Deluxe Radio (Works) Big Heater & Even Has A Cig Lighter That Works. Im Pretty Sure Everything Works.(Last I Checked). The Rubber Floor Mat Is Mostly All There, Seats & Door Panels Are All Original. ( Blue & White Seat Covers Are Not Original ) The Engine Has Been Rebuilt Not All That Long Ago You Can Tell And She Runs Sweet.(NO SMOKE) Very Peppy And Strong Mopar Flat Six. Great Oil Pressure. The Transmission Shifts Good. 3 Speed On The Tree. Carb Is Rebuilt. New Fuel Pump. I Also Replaced The Oil Bath Air Cleaner (Included) With An Original Late 1950s Paper Element Air Cleaner. (Rare) Hard Air Cleaner To Find. Also We Installed An Original NOS Glass Packed Muffler From The Fiftys. ( Found In The Raffters Of A Garage ) Wow...Sounds Really Mellow With Just A Soft Crackle...Just Like In The Good Old Days......Finished Off With An Original 50s Equast Tip. Also New Battery. 15" Wide White Wall Tires All Around..( Very Very Good ) Powder Coated Red Rims. SPINNER Hubcaps On Front Of Car Are NOT INCLUDED. But, A Nice Set Of Front Caps Are Included. BARRIS CREST. Please See Last Picture. These Caps Look Great On The Car. Kinda Looks Just Like The Barris Crest. ( The Spinners Are From Another Of My Cars). Under The Fender Skirts On The Rear Is A Set Of Beauty Rings. Not Hardly Seen Being Low With Skirts. ( Most Low Cars From The 50s Never Had Rear Hub Caps......You Cant See Them. This Car Has Been Mostly Rebuilt/Restyled By My Son Derek. He Has Worked For Gene Winfield And Been Around Custom Cars Since He Was Born. He Is A Real Metal Craftsmen With Some Of His Work Being Showcased In Magazines. All Of The Pinstriping On This Plymouth Was Also Done By,My Son Derek...........AKA Flying D As He Is Known.....Also He Is Responsible For All Of The Metal Work & Paint. What The Car Needs To Really Be A Show Stopper Is.....The Passenger Side Windshield Has A Crack. Drivers Side Window Glass Needs Replaced. Still There But Is Broke.(Its All Flat Glass)... Also The Front Seat Cover Needs To Be Fit. Could Use Hog Nose Fastners. The Headliner Is There But Needs Replaced. The Brakes Are Good...But, Original. A Couple Of Pumps And You Get A Good Pedal. Typical Of A Car That Isnt Drivin Much. Might Have Some Air In The Lines ? So..... Like I Said The Car Is Not Perfect. But, WIth This Car You Will Have A Very Nice Running Driving Kustom To Enjoy The Summer Ahead. I Have Owned At Least 25 Or So....1949 Thru 1952 Plymouths. I Know These Cars Very Well. I Have Owned All Body Styles. These Hard Tops Are The Most Rare Body Style. Ive Had Several 1952s And I Still Have A 1951 Belvedere (First Plymouth Hardtop). I Can Say....This Car Was A Very Original Solid Mostly Rust Free Car. I Wanted To Keep This One Forever....But Im Moving Out Of State And Cant Take All My Cars & Trucks. I Must Say This Again......This Plymouth Runs GREAT !!!!. And She Looks Great To. !!!!! Jump In And Start Kruzing TODAY !!!!!
