Vehicle Detail

This is a project car but all of the pieces are there. I purchased this car last year for $3,700.00. After driving it for a week, the transmission started to slip in 2nd and 4th gear. I contacted the seller, but because I purchased it “as is” they were not going to take it back. I drove the car for a couple of weeks shifting it manually without an issue but because this was to be my daughter's car, I needed to get it fixed. I read that this is a common symptom and that the fix was to replace the 2/4 band in the transmission. Learning through watching YouTube videos, I was able to figure out how to lower the engine enough to pull off the transmission pump and replace the 2/4 band. I replaced the transmission pump and put everything back together but when I attempted to start the car, something bound up and it would not turn over. I pulled the transmission pump off and discovered the transmission pump shaft had twisted and now looked like a Twizzler. I ordered a new pump and shaft and reassembled. I attempted to start the car and the same thing happened again as well as transmission fluid started to leak out from the bottom of the transmission. At this point, I decided to order a used transmission and replace the entire transmission. I ordered a used transmission for $550.00 off eBay and had it delivered. This transmission was from a 2005 Ford Escape and has around 122,000 miles on it. (see picture). I disassembled a few things (starter, battery box, exhaust, drive shaft, etc.) but didn't get the transmission out and replaced before winter came. I now do not have time to finish this project. Everything, including the used replacement transmission comes with this purchase. The used transmission is still wrapped in the original plastic on a pallet and is in the back hatch of the car (see picture). Overall the car ran fine except for the transmission. The only other problem was that the emergency brake cable is broken. Everything else worked as it should before the transmission went out. The exterior and interior are also in really good shape. There are scratches and a ding on the driver's door (see picture) and there are a few places where paint is chipped. I tried to show them in the pictures. There's also a scrape on the rear driver's side but it looks like paint from something else is on the surface so it should buff out. The interior is black leather and needs cleaned but is also in really good shape. I really don't see any body rust on this vehicle. Here are some more details about this purchase: It comes with a newer Kenwood CD player that has an aux input and a USB input (see picture). The tires are in good shape and have plenty of tread. The car needs to be picked up with a trailer, but it will roll. The front, left axle has been removed and the rear driveshaft has been disconnected. All parts including the axle come with this purchase. A ratchet strap has been installed under the vehicle to keep the driveshaft from falling. A bolt with large washers has been installed through the front, left wheel to keep the bearings from being damaged, since the axle has been removed (see picture). This will need to be removed before reinstalling the axle. The battery has been removed, but is also included with the purchase. Any bolts/nuts removed have been put into baggies and most are marked (see picture). Many were put back on as I went so there are not that many. I purchased an electronic copy of a repair manual and will include it with this purchase. Please feel free to ask me anything at all and I will do my best to give you an honest, detailed answer. I have started this bid at $500.00 and there is no reserve.
