Ok....I am relisting as I was unable to accept several offers due to issues with my eBay connection. .... so here I go again, and please only folks that a truly interested and no scammers! NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!! This time I will auction along with a lowered buy now price. I will try and answer all questions that were asked during the prior listing. 1. vehicle is all numbers matching with 670 casting and YS code on the block 2. Engine was never rebuilt but starts right up and runs well.... all gaskets were changed except for the rear seal 3. There is no rust or rot on the vehicle although some body work is needed on door to make a show vehicle 4. Vehicle was built in Pontiac, MI September of 1966 5. vehicle is all original except for items that were replaced below 6. vehicle has original distributor and headers 7. I am only the second owner This is a very nice driver car at a very low reserve compared to others for sale on ebay, I am trying to be fair and honest for a quick sale. With a minimal investment you will have a 40K show vehicle If you need more photos I will gladly supply This is a true 242 GTO / Not a clone with 41K original miles. Vehicle has spent its whole life in North Carolina and is a numbers matching vehicle very solid vehicle. There is no rot or rust on body panels, inner fenders, wheel house, floor, trunk and frame. This was a father & son home garage project that was started but never finished. Engine starts, runs & drives well, transmission shifts smoothly, front steering links and (front & rear) suspension parts have been replaced, new front disc brakes were added but still have the old drum spindles. New exhaust, alternator, belts & hoses, gas tank, water pump, gas pump, headliner, vinyl roof, carpeting, floor sound proofing, battery, shocks, coils, rear drum set ups, wheels & tires (had to upgrade to 15 inch but still have old wheels and hub caps with brand new redlines on them and will go to new owner), chrome bumpers, brake lines, master cylinder, engine wiring harness ( I have receipts for all). Original 4 Barrel carburetor was rebuilt several years ago and still on engine. Vehicle has original numbers matching engine, carburetor, Turbo transmission, posi rear end, dash board (no cracks) with original am radio & 8 track player, column and trim panels all in good shape. Vehicle was painted approximately 5 years ago and still looks new and shiny. New owner will need to repair some chips and some light body work to make it show worthy. Vehicle also needs replacement of front seat covers, left front seat padding and rear shelf panel to make interior complete and perfect.
