1989 Chevrolet 2500 Work Truck for Repair VIN #1GCGC24K3KE195627 / Mile Meter: 139,782 Vehicle will be sold, “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Up for auction is a 1989 Chevrolet 2500 long bed work truck having a 5.7 L/V8 engine and an automatic transmission. This vehicle started on its own and ran when tested on June 13, 2018, but it may need a jump next time. The air blows, but not cold. The right rear shock mount is bent. This unit has been sitting since November 2017 after requested repairs were declined. Some declined repairs/reported issues on the last work order include the following: vehicle sometimes won’t stay in park, power steering intermittently noisy, no low beams, pulls to left when braking and to the right when taking off, instrument panel lights inoperable, fan noisy, driver door hard to close completely, driver seat belt won’t latch, and brakes grind. Our records indicate that this unit was last fueled up in November of 2017 at 139,770 miles; the last oil change was in April of 2017 at 139,246 miles along with new front brakes and two new tires, the transmission was replace in 99 at 89,908 miles and then rebuilt at 121,391 miles. Among others, most recent repairs include the radiator and starter being replaced in 2016. This unit has large dents, rust, the paint is worn, and it generally looks rough all over. The truck bed, front fenders, and both doors were swapped out in 2015. There is no door lock key. One tire was manufactured in 2016, the other three in 2013. This unit may need additional repair.
