Manizone 2000 BMW 528i Touring with only 60,561 original low miles in very nice condition. Please enjoy this awesome iconic built like tank inline 6 cylinder larger 2.8 Litter 528iTA!! This is one of the nicest BMW 5 series wagon hard to find in SCHWARZ 2 (668) Black on Light Beige I ever seen in this condition. This is a rare I6 cylinder 528iTA model in incredible condition due to garaging and low miles and extensive preventive maintenance. Don't forget it's been Naples, Florida car since brand new. This vehicle was one owner until 2017. I'm proud third owner of this incredible BMW driving machine (Second owner had it for one month and sold her to me since he purchased brand new Audi SUV for his wife). Original owner was a snowbird who had residence in SW Florida and used it to drive South and back home. He took great care of his BMW 528iTA. Later he decided to upgrade to brand new 7 series and traded her in after almost 17 years of proud ownership at Germain BMW of Naples. This is when I acquired this incredible Sport Touring last spring. The tires are brand new, only few hundred miles on Goodyears Sport. A clean Carfax Report (see images of it bellow) shows extensivie preventive maintenance performed consistently year to year at Germain BMW of Naples and she was never involved in accidents. Only 60,561 miles. There are no leaks anywhere on the engine or the drivetrain. Not a single spot. Everything works as it should. Full preventive maintenance service list bellow: 1. New radiator, expansion tank, expansion tank cap - BEHR2. New Cooling hoses - every single cooling hose has been replaced! This include two fiberglass/ plastic cooling pipes under intake manifold.3. New Water pump with All New Aluminum pulley and New thermostat OEM BMW, New Genuine BMW Coolant4. New cooling fan Genuine BMW and New cooling fan viscous clutch Behr5. New VANOS upgrade kit with upgraded seal kit installed form BEISAN Systems.6. New valve cover gasket kit installed Genuine BMW7. New entire crankcase ventilation kit installed - including every single house, Crankcase Ventilation Valve (Genuine BMW), oil dipstick O ring, six O rings on intake air distribution body, New O rings on all six fuel injectors, New intake manifold Gaskets.8. New DISA valve and Idle Control Valve (plus Idle control Valve rubber boot which goes into intake manifold) - Bosch9. Brand new steering pump and All New Aluminum pulley with New steering fluid, Brand New steering fluid reservoir and high pressure steering fluid lines were installed at the same time.10. Brand New Engine oil reservoir adapter arm gasket to the engine block and New Engine Oil line to VANOS unit.11. Brand New Corteco OEM engine mounts were installed at the same time.12. All New engine air intake boots.13. New brake job include Genuine BMW brake rotors and pads on all four corners.14. Brand New ABS control module professionally programmed to the car. Module is brand new not some remanufactured crap.15. Passenger occupancy problem has been solved with new module.16. Brand new ignition switch to solve all engine lights horrors - FEBI. There are no check engine nor any other warning lights on the dash since all issues have been solved with brand new OEM parts by not cutting any corners of any kind. 17. Two Brand new rear gate ( fifth rear door) Stabilus Shocks and plus Two Brand New Stabilus shocks for rear gate/door glass window. Your Rear gate door nor glass window will not sag on your head once opened.19. Brand new front suspension Thrust Arm two Meyle Heavy Duty Bushings (AKA control arms), ( I prefer them over OEM Lemforder because they have much lower rate of premature failure compare to Lemforders which are liquid filled). Control arm bushings installed and then torqued down preloaded with proper weights in each seat.20. New fuel pressure regulator Genuine BMW, New fuel Filter Mahle and new vacuum line.21. Roof Radio antenna professionally re-sealed, New front windshield decorative trim. All trim looks nice around vehicle. 22. New cabin fresh air filters.23. Brand New proper size 1000Amps Battery Synthetic Mobil 1 0w40 every 4000 miles since new. Fresh Mobile 1 0W40 engine oil and filters just recently. Instrument cluster is in perfect condition showing all pixels.This beauty has never seen snow nor salt. Absolutely NO rust anywhere, not a single spot. Original from BMW since new Factory very well preserved paint job. Very clean. Interior is in awesome condition and so is exterior. Exterior has some very very minor hair line wear due to washes, nothing to worry about. There is one very small dent to the right rear fender just above taillight, if you look at pictures you may notice this. I noticed this after months of ownership. There is also small paint surface damage to the passenger door lower edge, it's been touched up by dealer - just to let you know. Front end has extremely small number of very tiny paint chips from road small rocks or something. Very hard to see unless you are looking very upclose - just to let you know. There is one portion of the front door sill which is deteriorated and can be seen in the pictures, right and left entry doors. It's hard to notice at first but it is there. It do not cause any kind of noise or discomfort and can be replaced easily if you decide to do so for cosmetic prefereces. Other than that she looks very awesome. Exterior paint overall is in excellent condition with no sun fade and no clear coat pealing at all. It is very shiny and glossy and looks more like a few years old car. Interior is near perfect - leather is in very good condition. These motors are one of the best made for longevity. What you have here is a vehicle that is ready for another 10 years or more of service. It idles and runs like a new car. And, shows like a newer a few years vehicle. Most gracefully aging classic BMW and best looking Sport Wagon ever made which is still in par with todays modern vehicles because of strong, decades ahead back then, German engineering and manufacturing. Being a rare second top of the line BMW creation, 528iTA engine M52TU pulls strong fast forward due to 528iTA shorter final gear ratio found in Sport cars, new advanced intake throttle control with DISA module borrowed from Formula 1 designs. Having driven both the BMW 740i M sport and the 750IL, the 528iTA because of its reduced weight due to I6 cylinder engine, all Aluminum front and rear subframe and suspension was definitely the sporting choice giving better steering response due to ability to use more advanced steering rack and pinion gears vs recirculation ball on older BMW models and on larger engine models. You really get to experience the torque and power flexibility only a I6 can provide. It’s no wonder that to this day BMW still produces a I6 engines based on this design and even reintroducing inline 6's into new 7 series with various turbos. Sadly post 2000 starting in 2001 all 5 series e39 BMW's Wagons with I6 engines received downgraded 2.5L engines with less torque and HP due to emission requirements. Light Sand leather interior including dash, Cruise, Power memory seats, windows and door locks. The air conditioning is literally ice cold and strong and I run it on the lowest setting. As is the paint, and sheet metal. The floors and frame are solid with no rust. It truly is remarkable. It's only slower by 1 second than BMW 740 it is very agile and Blast to drive not to mention Sport Wagon extra cargo space that can be used for many purposes. It has an automatic transmission and it works flawlessly. It steers perfectly with no odd handling or steering. This vehicle is as solid as they come and is ready to become your interstate cruiser - tourer vehicle or just collectible toy for getting around in town. These engines are made to last. I have seen with over 330K miles on the clock and still offered for sale as drivable vehicles. As any preowned vehicle it has tiny front end rock chips on hood, front bumper, side mirrors. Very minor. Some tiny clear coat scratches to be expected. I haven't noticed any significant dents. There is also spare front wheel which comes with the car and it looks brand new. Tires are almost new about about 300 miles ago. I highly recommend coming and inspecting her in person. If you can't come and inspect her in person I can take her to my local BMW dealership if you arrange that, no problem. Any questions just let me know.
