1972 Penton 175 JackpinerTitle In hand for this mint one owner original paint Survivor!One of the most advanced 2-stroke competition machines during its era. its current NADA value is $5,420! BUY IT NOW FOR LESS! Serial # 7-20655578During the Chrome Moly Frame (CMF) era this bike was introduced with an all new KTM engine. It features a blue 3.1gallon fiberglass gas tank, blue air box as well as yellow number plates. The KTM engine is black with a Motoplat ignition, 6-speed transmission, cast aluminum alloy cylinder and head with a 30mm Amal carburetor. It has a silver painted Chrome Moly tube frame, cast aluminum barrel style hubs, chrome steel rims, newer tires, Ceriani front forks and shocks, Preston Petty Product Mudder front fender, Magura leather lever covers, aluminum rear fender, Leather mounted tool pouch, Penton KTM seat, front and rear drum brakes, “Penton US Trophy Team Gold Medal Winner 46th International Six Days Trial” side cover decal, original warranty decal, buckled leather tank strap, original tank logo and model decals and a 4 inch bullet shaped head light. The serial number indicates that it was an early production made in June of 1972.This Jackpiner was purchased on August 5th 1972 from Cycle Dynamics, Inc. in Feeding Hills Massachusetts and we acquired it from the original owner. When this enduro arrived at our New England Motorcycle Museum location we performed an inspection and some minor preservation services (See full summary below!)
