It doesn't wear any Eleanor or Shelby garb. Just clean factory lines of one of the most iconic body styles ever produced. This one is a good looking driver, not afraid of stone chips or a weekend on the road. Just the kind of car you can drive to work on a sunny Friday or hit the road for that car show on the other side of the state. The body on this fastback is nice and solid. The work has been done. The panels are straight and line up well. This is an older repaint but the car clearly still shows well. There are some imperfections in the paint along the quarter panel to roof panel, see pic. This is where the two join and there is a factory leaded seam that often causes a reaction. There are some small chips as you would expect but that also lets you drive the car guilt-free. The bumpers were replaced and are in excellent condition. Inside the interior looks great. The carpet is clean and fits well, seat upholstery is soft & supple. Again, this is what started the craze, just clean sensible equipment. The drivers seat was just reupholstered and the remaining passenger & rear seat upholstery do come with the car but the current upholstery is still in excellent condition. Under the hood the 302 wears the original 4 barrel intake manifold and 4V cylinder heads. It sounds great through the performance dual exhaust. This one has excellent road manners with good power. The automatic transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts properly. The Power Front Disc Brakes work excellent and really make this a confident driver. This is one of the Must-Have options. The 17" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are brand new units. With 8" wheels on the back and 7" on the front with the just right off sets the feature 275 40's in the rear and 225 45's in the front for a great look and a perfect fit.
