An absolutely Mint & Original Classic Honda, We Just Invested over $3,200 in parts & service, and it has new top of the line Dunlop tires and a new battery less than 100 miles ago!A classic four-stroke, 80 degree V-twin, 4 cylinder middleweight touring Bike. This is the first year considered an antique by the NADA but it thoroughly modern and relaiable performing and is liquid cooled, has an electric start, a 5-speed transmission, a shaft drive, a large single disc front brake with powerful dual piston calipers and a rear drum brake. The 80 degree v-twin engine not only keeps vibration low, but makes it simpler to maintain. The GL’s long wheel base provides more stability yet steers lightly and easily. It has front and rear air adjustable suspension. The suspension has a bit more travel at each end to better handle bumps and potholes. The Pro-link monoshock rear suspension made the GL the smoothest riding motorcycle on the highway for its time. This tourer features the compact rear mounted storage trunk, which can be removed to swap in the passenger seat and backrest (included). The GL 500’s instruments and rider controls are all first rate. Large dial faces on the tachometer and speedometer are easy to read. An engine coolant temperature gauge is built into the lower edge of the tachometer and a trip mileage meter is also included in the speedo. The previous owner took extremely good care of this bike it was serviced annually and he did not put a lot of miles on this bulletproof Honda engine he only added 4,381 miles since 1994. It currently has 30,723 original miles on it and has much more to go! We gave the bike a 100 point inspection and a full service and rebuilt the front brake master cylinder, PLEASE see the full list below. Then we gave this classic a museum quality detailing and polishing to get her ready for your summer adventures.Honda’s hold their value very well as this rare two year production beauty is currently valued at $4,035 and will continue to go up.
