1963 Sears Allstate Puch 250 TwingleA Rare & Classic 2 Stroke Absolutely Gorgeous One of only 1677 made Everyone that comes in the shop loves it!Everybody thinks it is an Antique $20,000.00 BMW Please watch the video belowWe have over $2,000 invested into the bike with labor and shipping, and we did a full detail and polishing of the entire bike.Does not run, needs restorationVin: 81094220 Frame / 1719522 EngineAlso known as the Puch 250 SGS. This Sears Roebuck & Co. imported an Austrian single piston two-stroke. Built by Puch this classic features a duel gas tank one side for fuel, the other for oil and right side shifting. Known as one of the most reliable vintage motorcycles you can find, they always seem to start on the first kick. They are fun to ride and look awesome! They are very easy to work on. It has a comfortable Denfeld seat, the same that was used on the BMW touring bikes in the 50’s. Extremely rare, only 1,677 were made for this year and less than 150 are known to exist! This bike has 14,351 low original miles on it. From the original Sears Catalog Ad: “Head into the wind at speeds up to 80 MPH. Powerful 2-cycle engine with unique 2-cylinder, single combustion chamber design boasts 16.2 horse power. Lightning fast, 4-speed foot-shift transmission. Dual chrome-plated exhausts and trim. Built-in speedometer, 2-beam headlamp, tail-light stoplight. Brilliant panther-black tough enamel finish. Made in Austria. 78-in. long, 53-in. wheelbase, 6-inch road clearance. 29 inches to saddle height. Weighs only 309 pounds.”This is a great restoration project for the serious collector. As expected for a 54 year old antique, there is some patina. A previous owner touched up the paint. We are uncertain what it will take to get it running as the kick start and carburetor are missing. The clutch and throttle cables need work, and the front pegs are missing as well. A great investment that will continue to appreciate in value soAdd this rare and amazing bike to your collection today SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE & INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL AIR CLEANER/CHOKE AND THE TOP OF THE CARBURETORA PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO FUND THE NEW ENGLAND MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM______________________________________________________________________Please check out our detailed video on this motorcycle: 1963 Sears All-State Twingle 250 Puch SGS - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo] *May take a second to load if you are on mobile!* Here’s what some of our many customers have to say about Kaplan Cycles!“I bought five motorcycles from Ken and plan to buy more.
