1979 Suzuki GS425SOLD WITH A CLEAN TITLEPLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW A meticulously built all-around performance machine! Sold AS-IS Not RunningWAS RUNNING WHEN WE GOT IT BUT IT SAT FOR A WHILE AND NOW NEEDS CARBS CLEANED A bored up version of the successful GS400, this air cooled four stroke, parallel DOHC twin cylinder engine has 40hp and remained the same weight. Known for its good looks, reputation, reliability and durability these Suzuki’s sold well. It has a single front disc brake and rear drum brake. It weighs 374lbs so it’s fun light weight and nimble on the corners. Its many features include both electric & kick start, oiled foam air filter, automatic chain tensioner, needle bearing suspended swingarm, 5 way load adjustable rear shocks, Mikuni BS34SS carburetors, digital gear indicator and starter clutch interlock. Its top speed is 105 MPH, gets 45 miles per gallon and has a 6 speed transmission with gear driven counter rotating balancer to assure smooth power. It’s being sold AS-IS! A previous owner began to restore this bike but did not get a chance to finish it. It only has 10,738 original miles; only 4,738 miles have been put on it since 1996! New paint was added, it’s missing its tank and side-cover badges. A café racer style front quarter fairing was added. It appears to need a new battery or just a recharge and the carburetor cleaned. It will kick over but may need some servicing. We are selling it as is because we have a large back order of restoration projects and need to clear up some inventory and time. Once you clean it up and get it running this classic has an NADA value is $2,275. and is going up in value, a great investment! Get this unique GS425 while you still can!
