Vehicle Detail
1971 Triumph Tiger 650 TR6R Roadster A gorgeous classic antique Triumph! The ’71 Tiger was completely revamped from end to end. It was the first to introduce a new oil-bearing frame which was welded instead of brazed lugs making it much lighter (383 lbs) than its processors. Everything on this bike was newly designed except for the engine, which for the first time had the option for a 5-speed gear box on all models (it shifts on the right side). It had a whole new modern look, new forks, new stronger swingarm pivot, new wheels with conical hubs, an all-new cycle gear, and single carburetor. This beauty has all of the original decals on it and they are in good shape. It looks and handles very well. It was also upgraded at some point with an electronic ignition. As expected for a 46 year old classic there are a few scratches and patina present. This motorcycle is being sold As-Is. It only has 2,045 miles on it. THIS BIKE IS ONLY GOING UP IN VALUE, THE CURRENT NADA #1 VALUE IS $7,570.00.
