Selling one of my favorite motorcycles, my Honda XL100. This was a low mileage survivor, (1450 miles) when I acquired it about 12 years ago. I did a full bare frame restoration on it. I was a professional Honda motorcycle mechanic at the time. The seat was reupholstered, I bought the last available NOS exhaust for it, I had several parts re-chromed including the kickstarter, the exhaust heat shield, tail light bracket and all 72 spokes! The orange paint is original, the frame and engine cases were repainted. I freshened the engine with new standard sized piston rings, gaskets and clutch plates. Many other NOS parts installed including the horn, cables and other rubber parts, chain and misc. parts I can't remember. This was a labor of love. Original key, toolkit and owners manual included. The bike is titled in California and is clear. I moved to Florida about 6 years ago and never registered it here. (Florida plate from another bike was installed for a short test ride). It was stored dry and indoors for many years. I have it running currently, with a fresh battery installed, it starts easily and runs perfectly, everything works, no leaks or strange noises. Mileage shown on odometer is original, I am the 2nd owner. Bike is a joy to ride. It's pretty quick and easily keeps up with traffic, will go 55+mph. Sadly selling it to make room for other bikes. Decal on right cover above the 'XL100' is a dealer tag that was there since new, so I left it on. BONUS! PS- I added a few pics of the side covers and fuel tank- A few folks asked about the tank inside condition. It is very good. No "creem" or anything like that, it was treated with acid and baking soda years ago when I first got the bike- (it wasn't very bad then), then kept empty coated inside with WD-40 when displayed or stored for long periods, and kept full when being ran. The bike has been stored either on display indoors or in a climate-controlled garage the entire time I've owned it.Thanks!
