Vehicle Detail
1967 HONDA CT90Dual Range Transmission, Runs and Drives Great The Honda CT90 (or Trail 90 as it is sometimes referred to) is likely the quintessential entry level dual purpose motorcycle. Imported in huge numbers throughout the 1960s and 70s, it's ease of use with no clutch and dual range transmission gave inexperienced riders the ability to cruise the city and hit the trails with confidence. The CT90 has become somewhat of a "classic" with excellent parts availability, as well as support from clubs and online forums. This bike shows a little under 13,000 miles and is believed to be original. It has spent its entire life in California and still wears it's original black and yellow plate. Please note-The pictures make the bike look a bit better than it is-the original paint has faded a bit, and although shiny has small dings and scratches. I tried to show these in the closeups. The driver's seat upholstery is brand new. It also comes with the passenger seat over the luggage rack as shown. The headlight, tail light, indicator light in the speedo, and the horn all function perfectly. The tail light lens is brand new. The tires have lots of tread, but have sidewall cracks and should be replaced before any serious road use. This model has the desirable dual-range transmission with a switch that allows for street and trail gearing, giving the motorcycle an 8 speed transmission. The chrome on the bike is shiny, and the headlight rim, handlebars and exhaust show some freckling. The chrome on the rims is very nice, but the spokes have surface rust. It runs and shifts well with plenty of power and no smoke or leaks. There is a small hole in the rear of the muffler and a small tear in the grey wire cover on the frame -see photos. Both are cosmetic and do not affect functionality. This motorcycle is sold on a bill of sale. There is no title but I can assist in obtaining one. It has been on a Non-Op since '99 so there are no back fees. The black/yellow license plate can be reapplied to this bike upon titling in California because an old original registration showing the plate assigned to this motorcycle comes with it. THIS IS NOT YOM and costs nothing extra at the DMV. This motorcycle is not advertised elsewhere, and this auction is the exclusive opportunity to purchase it. There is a reasonable reserve on this auction. This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain a very desirable and fun little machine. Please ask any and all questions and read the terms below before bidding. Terms of This Sale:1) By bidding in this auction, you declare that you have read the Terms of this Sale as outlined below and agree to them. 2) If you are the winning high bidder in this auction, you are entering a legal and binding contract to purchase the motorcycle, as outlined in the eBay User Agreement . Since bid retractions upset the auction process, any bid retractions without our prior knowledge and approval will cause the auction to end immediately. 3) The motorcycle may be viewed in person, by appointment in Costa Mesa, California, prior to the end of the auction. I am located 7 minutes from Orange County Airport (SNA), and 40 Minutes from LAX. Please email for an appointment. If you have any questions, please ask them BEFORE you bid. 4) Please, bid on this motorcycle only if you are serious about owning it and have the funds available. Payment is due in full within 3 days of the end of the auction. 5) The motorcycle is sold "as is, where is," with no warranty. Transportation is the responsibility of the new owner. 6) After the auction has ended, the sale price is final. Thank you and good luck!
