Selling my 1984 Hurst Olds Special Edition. Still have the H.O. 307 matching numbers motor but rebuilt a 1972 Oldsmobile 350 std bore with 1968 high compression heads, mid level cam, roller Magnum roller rocker arms, and guides plates, new aluminum intake manifold and Holley carb, the 2004r was also rebuilt and replaced the torque converter with a 2500 stall speed converter. Engine runs strong and launches hard. The interior is in excellent shape and there is no rot, the paint is faded and should be painted to restore the second year combination of Silver upper and Black lower separated by red accent stripes. This is the second year that Oldsmobile had produced this special vehicle, the first was 1983 which was black on top with silver lower and reversed the color scheme for the second and last year. These vehicles were in limited production approximately 3500 units produced in 1984 which has the famous "Hurst Lighting Rod" shifters and a 373 limited slip diff, the 1984 had a stronger rear diff than the 1983. This is a vehicle that will only go up in value given its low production numbers, great drivetrain and good looks.
