This 1967 Ford XL Convertible was built to fulfill that very need. Just after it's creation, it was shipped down to Newport Beach, CA for a life of sunshine and road trips. Ford XL's could be ordered in all sorts of combinations from stripped down to fully loaded. This one is closer to the latter. The list of power options ordered on this XL are impressive. We've had several of these come in over the years, but we've never seen one with power seats, power windows, air conditioning AND a big block! This convertible would surely have rivlaled the Cadillacs of it's day. Driving this cruiser is as easy at it gets. Hop in, drop the power top and hit the open road. The interior has seen some wear, but the dash, gauges and carpet all look to be in good shape. The console is complete, the back seat looks good. The car starts right up and the powerful 390 V8 is more than enough to carry you down the road with some tempo. You won't have to miss out on the modern conveniences of disc brakes, power steering and A/C, because the thoughtful original owner planned ahead.
