1996 Toyota Tacoma. This truck is becoming more and more hard to find. People understand that if maintained properly, these trucks seem to run forever! So finding a 1st Generation Tacoma 4X4 "For sale", is harder these days. I have promptly rejected offers of up to $6500 just FYI... This is the SR5 trim level which includes everything imaginable back in 96, Sunroof, Power windows, locks, elec mirrors, sport bucket seats, CD player, Cruise control, tow package etc. This Tacoma has been a Florida truck all its life. No frame rust to speak of. It is extremely reliable. I have had no break downs or issues. All work we have done has been purely proactive maintenance, upgrades and cosmetic. Although it is in GREAT condition for what it is, this Taco is not perfect and will need some cosmetic work done if you want to do so. It is 20 years old so you are bound to find something you want replaced or refurbished. **CLEAN FLORIDA TITLE IS IN HAND. **Body is straight, no accidents, paint is good 5VZ-FE Engine runs strong with no smoke or knocks Transmission is smooth and 4X4 works perfect!New Bilstien Shocks, Valve cover gaskets replaced newNew 31" Tires by Firestone Inner ties rods replaced by Firestone Balanced at Firestone New Rotors and pads @ FirestoneMobil 1 Synthetic oil done 1500 miles ago. New molded carpet installed shampoo seats and upholstery recently New tail lights LED and New Head Lights LED Pioneer head unit installed Transfer case and Tranny oil recently changed with Mobil 1 Synthetic New Clutch and Fly Wheel New Slave cylinder Brake Master Cylinder New NAPA Battery New windshield Washer Reservoir from Toyota OEM Thermostat replaced last year New Flex A Lite Aluminum Radiator and fans. New Exhaust / Muffler by BosalCatalytic replaced with 3" Stainless Tube (Runs better but is louder!)No Check Engine Lights or warning lights of any kind EVER since Ive had it. Roof of cab needs repaint only (this is a typical issue with these trucks) $350 estimate Center vent console cracked $120 cost on eBay.
