Purchased this car off ebay about 8 - 10 months ago. Was told that it was immaculate ( a Doctor from Oklahoma ) Should have traveled there to see the car. Said that there was a minor heating problem but the car ran great. Bought the car and had it transported to Maryland. Car needs a head gasket. Did run for a little while but over headed quickly. DOES NOT run at present. Was also told and advertised on ebay as a 1983 but is really a 1981. Have a clear title in my name. Was still going to repair the Mercedes but time and other things have made that just a thought. My lost is the buyer's gain. Car has 500SL wheels , a 560SL on the trunk and an a original wheel as a spare. Car only has the hard top. NO soft top. Being sold as is no Warrant given or implied. Body is in good condition just minor scrapes and some minor parking lot dents. All the glass is good . original antenna is broken, the radio has been replace. lights (head lights and tail lights) are all good, Interior needs to be redone but could do for awhile. Needs sun visors. Wheels are in good shape. Tires are fair but still holding air. Asking a lot less than I paid. Thanks for looking. If you have less than 5 feed back contact me before you bid.
