1966 Classic BMW R50/2Bike has undergone a complete ground up restoration at Tim Stafford Restorations.Great detail was given to all parts on the bike including correct plating, finishes and original fasteners.Motor was completely restored with rebuilt crank, new Kolbin Schmitt pistons and new camshaft bearings. Heads and carburetors rebuilt. Slingers were cleaned, all new seals and gaskets throughout motor.Transmission and final drive were rebuilt with new seals, gaskets and all shafts shimmed for proper endplay.Wheels were rebuilt with excellent German original pattern chromed rims, correct chrome spokes,Metzeler block C tires and relined brake pads. Hubs also rebuilt and properly shimmed.Electrical system has been completely gone through with many new pieces such as wire harness and works perfect.Nothing was untouched on this bike with thousands of dollars of new parts used.
